Day 01: Delhi
Gems of Rajasthan tour start from the capital of India, Delhi. On your arrival in Delhi, a representative from Shantanu Cultural Trails will receive you with warm welcome from the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Delhi, the state capital of India, is full of history. You will find a harmonious mix of the old and the modern while touring the city. There is a lot to see in the city. From historical places and religious buildings to shopping centers, Delhi has a number of tourist attractions such as Qutub Minar, Red Fort, India gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Jama Masjid. Full day sightseeing tour of Delhi will rendezvous with the rich history of the region. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi – Agra
The next destination on Gems of Rajasthan tour is Agra. Fondly known as the city of Taj, Agra is renowned for its beautiful architectural buildings. Post breakfast at the hotel in Delhi, drive to Agra. Arrive in Agra and transfer to the hotel. Visit the famous Agra Fort. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04: Agra – Bharatpur
In the morning, visit Taj Mahal. Declared as a World Heritage Site, Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan in the 17th century. Leave for Bharatpur. The place is famous for the Keoladeo Ghana National Park. The thick forests of the sanctuary invite bird lovers to indulge themselves in bird watching. Arrive in Bharatpur and transfer to the hotel. Explore the dense forests and spot an exotic species of avifauna. Dinner and Night stay in Bharatpur.
Day 05: Bharatpur – Ranthambhore
Set off for Ranthambore National Park after having your breakfast. In 1955 the reserve was announced as a wildlife sanctuary. Home to a wide species of animals, plants and birds, Ranthambore National Park is a perfect place for adventure enthusiasts, nature buffs and wildlife lovers. Arrive in Ranthambore and transfer to the hotel. Dinner & Night stay in Ranthambore.
Day 06: Ranthambhore
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. On the sixth day of Gems of Rajasthan Tour, taste the wilderness of the park. Jungle safaris into the park will take you closer to nature. You might come across to sambar, leopard, tiger, gaur and many other species of animals. Dinner & Overnight stay in Ranthambore.
Day 07: Ranthambhore – Kota
Early in the morning set off for the park. Enjoy game viewing in the reserve. Leave for Kota after breakfast. On your arrival in Kota, you will be taken to the hotel. Sightseeing tour of Kota will take you to the palace and museum. Overnight stay in Kota.
Day 08: Kota – Bundi
Depart for Bundi after breakfast. Transfer to Umed Bagh in Bundi. Explore the tourist attractions of the place such as palaces with frescoes, the stepwells and the most famous the Bundi Paintings. Dinner & Overnight stay at Bundi.
Day 09: Bundi – Chittorgarh
On the ninth day of Gems of Rajasthan tour, leave for Chittorgarh after breakfast. Arrive in Chittorgarh and transfer to the hotel. Visit the fortified city of Chittorgarh and its tourist attractions. Dinner and Overnight stay in Chittorgarh.
Day 10: Chittorgarh – Udaipur
Post breakfast, leave for Udaipur, the ‘Venice of the east’, Udaipur boasts of its fairy-tale palaces, picturesque lakes and beautiful temples. Established by Maharaja Udai Singh in 1559 A.D., Udaipur is blessed with the best of nature’s beauty. Arrive in Udaipur and transfer to the hotel. Take a boat ride in the famous Pichola Lake. Day 11: Udaipur
After a hearty breakfast, enjoy Udaipur city tour. Visit the City Palace, Crystal gallery, Jag Mandir, Vintage and Classic Car Collection and Saheliyon ki Bari (Queen’s resort for her friends) and don’t forget to see the beautiful Light and Sound Show in the City Palace during evening hours. Dinner and Overnight stay at Udaipur.
Day 12: Udaipur – Kumbhalgarh
In the morning after breakfast, depart for Kumbhalgarh en-route Ranakpur Temples. Arrive in Kumbhalgarh and transfer to the hotel. A tour of the fort and palace will introduce you with the rich history of the region. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel in Kumbhalgarh.
Day 13: Kumbhalgarh – Mount Abu
Set off for Mount Abu after breakfast. This is the only hill station in Rajasthan that beckons travelers to delve deep into its serene and picturesque beauty. Nestled at an altitude of 1,220 meters above sea level, Mount Abu is a perfect place for those who are looking for romantic escapades and family getaways. Day 14: Mount Abu – Jodhpur
Leave for Jodhpur after breakfast. On your arrival in Jodhpur, you will be taken to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jodhpur. Have a walk in the old city to get a better view of the culture. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 15: Jodhpur
Post breakfast, enjoy a full-day city tour covering Mehrangarh fort – unsurpassed in beauty & grandeur, it is one of the largest forts in India. Innumerable palaces in the fort, interspersed with sprawling courtyards, are intricately carved Jaswant Thada – The 19th century royal cenotaph, a creation in white marble, Clock tower – The timely treasure of Jodhpur, Ummed Bhawan – the modern-day pride of Jodhpur and Mandore Garden – with the religious background. Day 16: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer
Leave for the golden city of Jaisalmer after breakfast. Rawal Jaisal established the city in 1156. Arrive in Jaisalmer and check-in at the hotel. Enjoy camel safari in sand dunes. Loose yourself to the golden fantasy during camel safari. Watch the breathtaking sunset over the vast desert. Enjoy the colourful cultural performance and Dinner at the Desert camp in the Desert. Return to the hotel for night stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 17: Jaisalmer
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Spend the entire day in exploring the historical and religious sites of the city. Jaisalmer is dotted with a number of fascinating attractions such as the Jaisalmer Fort, Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, Patwon Ji Ki Haveli, Jain temple, etc. See the beautiful murals while touring the havelis. Enjoy camel safari in sand dunes on your visit to Sam Dunes. Dinner & Night stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 18: Jaisalmer – Bikaner
In the morning set off for Bikaner after breakfast. Arrive in Bikaner and transfer to the hotel. Junagarh Fort, the Karni Mata Temple at Deshnok and camel breeding farm are some of the must-visit places in Bikaner. Overnight stay in the desert city of Bikaner.
Day 19: Bikaner – Mandawa
Morning drive to Mandawa after breakfast. This small town in Shekhawati region of Rajasthan is known for its splendidly painted havelis. Mandawa was established in the mid-18th century. Arrive in Mandawa and transfer to the hotel. Visit the beautifully painted havelis in Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. Dinner & Night stay in Mandawa.
Day 20: Mandawa – Jaipur
Set off for Jaipur after breakfast at the hotel in Mandawa. Arrive in Jaipur and transfer to the hotel. Dinner & Night stay at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 21: Jaipur
In the morning, visit the Amer Fort on elephant back. While touring the Jaigarh Fort, have a look at the largest cannon on wheels in the world, namely Jaivana. Visit the famous Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Have a look at its immaculate Rajput architecture. Travel back in time while touring the museums in the City Palace complex. Explore the immaculate work of art and architecture, while visiting the Jantar Mantar. Also visit Gaitor and go for shopping. Dinner & Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 22: Jaipur – Delhi
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, check in the Hotel and after lunch take a walk in the street market. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 23: Delhi
Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. On time, a representative from Shantanu Cultural Trails will transfer you to the New Delhi International Airport. Take flight back to your home destination. The tour ends.
