Day 01: Delhi

Fly from your country to New Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at New Delhi International Airport with flower garlands by a representative from Shantanu Cultural Trails. Then you will be transferred to the hotel of your choice by an exclusive vehicle. You have a welcome dinner at the hotel organized by Shantanu Cultural Trails. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 02: Old Delhi and New Delhi

Take your hearty breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast embark on a sightseeing tour of Delhi including Old Delhi and New Delhi. Visit the Red Fort and the Jama Masjid. Visit Chandani Chowk and enjoy a rickshaw ride on the narrow street of Old Delhi. Visit the Raj Ghat – the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. Visit the Qutub Minar – the longest brick minaret in the world. Visit the India Gate – a war memorial dedicated to unknown soldiers who laid their lives in the first world war for the sake of the country. Visit the terrific monument – Humayun’s Tomb. Visit the modern temple structures – Birla Temple, Lotus Temple, and Akshardham Temples. Visit the terrific buildings of Parliament House and President House. In the evening, move around Jan Path and Connaught Place. In time return to the hotel. Enjoy your dinner at the hotel. Have a restful overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03. Delhi – Sariska (185 Km, 04 hours)

Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast drive to Sariska. Upon arrival at Sariska, a representative from Shantanu Cultural Trails assists you to transfer to the hotel of your choice. Sariska is situated in the Alwar District of Rajasthan, India. Sariska is world-famous for its tiger reserve and wildlife tourism. In the afternoon, visit the famous Sariska National Park & Tiger Reserve. Enjoy Jeep Safari to watch different varieties of wild animals such as tigers, leopards, panthers, wild boars, antelopes, spotted deer, barking deer, etc. In time return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 04. Sariska – Jaipur (120 Km, 02.1/2 hours)

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast drive to Jaipur (the City of Victory). Jaipur is a historic city situated in the state of Rajasthan. It is the capital city of Rajasthan and is fondly known as the Pink City of India. It is own of the well-planned cities in the country. It was founded by a great Rajput ruler – Maharaja Sawai Singh. He was a great astronomer, astrologer, soldier, philosopher as well as a great ruler. Upon arrival in Jaipur, a representative from Shantanu Cultural Trails assists to transfer you to the hotel of your choice. In the afternoon, visit the bustling bazaars of old Pink City to watch daily life. You can also purchase some exquisite handicrafts from the bazaars. In time return to the hotel for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 05. Jaipur

Take your breakfast at the hotel. Visit the magnificent Amber Fort situated atop a hill on the outskirt of Jaipur overlooking a wonderful view of the city. Enjoy a royal elephant ride to ascend the fort complex. Visit the Jal Mahal and the Nahargarh Fort. Visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) where royal ladies used to watch the daily processions and life of the city. Visit the elegant City Palace and explore several museums inside the palace complex. Visit the prosperous Albert Hall Museum. Visit the Jantar Mantar – an astrological observatory built by Maharaja Jai Sawai Singh. The evening is free for independent activities. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 06. Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra (235 Km, 06 hours)

Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast leave for Agra visiting en-route Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is a town founded by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1569 AD as a ceremonial capital. But unfortunately, it was abandoned due to scarcity of water and Akbar went back to Agra. Visit the famous historical sites and the Buland Darwaza at Fatehpur Sikri. Continue your journey to Agra. Upon arrival in Agra, a representative from Shantanu Cultural Trails assists you to transfer to the hotel. Agra is a historically rich city in India and is globally famous for its monuments like the Taj Mahal (one of the Seven Wonders of the World), Agra Red Fort, and Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb (the Baby Taj). After change and wash at the hotel, visit the Taj Mahal – a white marble monument – the symbol of eternal love – built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his most darling beloved Anjuman Bano Begum. With love, Shah Jahan called her Mumtaz Mahal. See the matchless beauty of the Taj Mahal at sunset. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 07. Agra

After morning breakfast, enjoy a battery ride van to the Taj Mahal. See the awesome beauty of the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Later visit the Agra Fort built by Akbar. The fort complex is built in red sandstone and white marble. Afterward, visit the beautiful monument – Itmad-Ud-Daullah Tomb whose interiors are considered more beautiful than of Taj Mahal. This is also described as the Baby Taj or Little Taj. In time return to the hotel for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 08: Agra – Gwalior – Delhi (Shatabadi Express) – Departure After early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the Agra Railway Station to board Shatabadi Express Train for Gwalior. Gwalior is a historical town situated in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Upon arrival in Gwalior, our representative arranges for a sightseeing tour of Gwalior. You will visit 15th-century Gwalior Fort, a few old temples within the fort, and rock-cut Buddhist & Jain statues. Later you will visit the well-preserved Gwalior Palace. The specialty of the Palace is a Silver train that moves around to serve drinks, if someone will pick a bottle; the train will stop unless the bottle will not be kept back. Afternoon you will be transferred to the Gwalior Railway Station to board the same Shatabadi Express Train for New Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, Shantanu Cultural Trails representative transfers to New Delhi International Airport to catch a flight for your home/onward destination.
