Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
Shantanu Cultural Trails welcomes to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to the hotel by a representative from Shantanu Cultural Trails. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
Delhi and New Delhi. Visit the Red Fort – a splendid Mughal monument built in red sandstone. Visit the Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in India. Visit the Raj Ghat – the cremation site of Rashtra Pita Mahatma Gandhi. Visit the Chandani Chowk – the famous bustling market of Old Delhi. Visit the 11th century Qutub Minar – the longest brick minaret in the world. Visit the grand Old Fort. Visit the imposing India Gate – a war memorial dedicated to unknown soldiers who laid their lives during the First World War. Visit the grand government buildings. Visit the President’s House and the Parliament House. Visit the marvelous and terrific temples like Lotus Temple, Birla Temple, and Akshardham Temple. Enjoy dinner with a cultural show in the evening. Have a comforting overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03: Delhi – Jaipur
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to New Delhi Railway Station to board the superfast air-conditioned train to Jaipur, the Pink City of India. Upon arrival in Jaipur, a representative from Shantanu Cultural Trails greets and transfers you to the hotel by an exclusive vehicle. Later proceed for sightseeing tours of Jaipur covering Amber Fort & Palace, City Palace, Albert Hall Museum, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur-Agra
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Agra visiting en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri. Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Jodha Bai Palace, Birbal House, Salim Chisti Tomb, and Jama Masjid are the main attractions at Fatehpur Sikri. Upon arrival in Agra, a representative from Shantanu Cultural Trails transfers you to the hotel. Relax at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05: Agra
Enjoy a sunrise visit the magnificent Taj Mahal-the Symbol of Eternal Love – a white marble mausoleum built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal – one of the Seven Wonders of the World. See the matchless beauty of the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Later visit the Agra Fort, a splendid Mughal monument shaped in red sandstones. Also, visit the Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb – an architecturally beautiful monument – popularly described as the Baby Taj or Little Taj. In the evening explore the rich handicrafts of Agra in local markets. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 06: Agra – Jhansi – Orchha
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the Railway Station to board the train to Jhansi. Upon arrival at Jhansi, the Shantanu Cultural Trails representative transfers you to the hotel at Orchha. Later visit the historical sites, monuments, and temples of Orchha. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel at Orchha.
Day 07: Orchha – Khajuraho
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast drive to Khajuraho. Upon arrival, the Shantanu Cultural Trails representative transfers you to the hotel. Later proceed on sightseeing tours of Khajuraho exploring its architecturally beautiful ancient temples. Marvel at awesome stone sculptures on the walls of temples showing erotic scenes. Explore the eastern and western groups of temples. Shantanu Cultural Trails’ guide explains the intricate meaning and legends behind sculptures and temples. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 08: Khajuraho – Delhi – Departure
Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Pack your things and wrap sweet memories of golden triangle and Khajuraho tours. Finish your last-minute shopping in time. After a farewell dinner at the hotel in the evening, the Shantanu Cultural Trails representative transfers you to the New Delhi International Airport in time to board a flight to your home/onward destination.
