Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
You arrive this morning in New Delhi. Upon arrival at New Delhi International Airport, the Shantanu Cultural Trails representative greets and transfers you to the hotel by an exclusive vehicle. After some rest and breakfast, proceed on a guided tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi. You will visit, today, famous attractions of Delhi like Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, Raj Ghat, India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, President House, Parliament House, Lotus Temple, Birla Temple, and Chhatarpur Temple. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi – Jaipur
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and depart for Jaipur, the Pink City of India, and the Capital City of Rajasthan. Upon arrival in the charming Pink City of India, a representative from Shantanu Cultural Trails greets and assists you to transfer you to the hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. In the evening we will take you to Chokhi Dhani for dinner.
Chokhi Dhani is an ethnic village resort located at a distance of 15 km from Jaipur. Evenings at the resort are very special. You will enjoy the typical Rajasthani ambiance and folk dances, music, and songs. Later drive back to the hotel for a restful overnight stay.
Day 03: Jaipur
After an early morning breakfast drive to Amber Fort situated on the outskirt of Jaipur atop a hill. Take an elephant ride to ascend the fort. Visit the Amber Fort & Palace and explore its beautiful architecture. Later you will visit City Palace, Birla Temple, Govind Dev Ji Temple, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, and Albert Hall Museum. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, drive to Agra visiting en-route visiting historical monuments at Fatehpur Sikri. Upon arrival in Agra, a representative from Shantanu Cultural Trails assists to transfer you to the hotel. Later have a beautiful glimpse of sunset at the magnificent Taj Mahal. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05: Agra (Excursion to Mathura and Vrindavan) – Varanasi
Visit the magnificent Taj Mahal at sunrise. After breakfast, visit the Agra Fort and the Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb. Later take an excursion to Mathura and Vrindavan, related to the birth and childhood Hindu god of Lord Krishna. In the evening you will be transferred to the Railway Station to board the overnight train for Varanasi – the City of Temples.
Day 06: Arrival in Varanasi
Arrive this morning in Varanasi – the City of Temples. Upon arrival in Varanasi, the Shantanu Cultural Trails representative transfers you to the hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Later take an excursion to Sarnath – a famous Buddhist Site. Here you will visit the ruins of monuments, the Stupa, the Buddhist temple, and the museum. In time return to Varanasi and check into your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 07: Varanasi
In the early morning, take a boat ride on the sacred River Ganga to see the bathing ghats and cremation sites. See the beautiful view of sunrise over the river. After breakfast, explore famous temple attractions of the city including Vishwanath Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Durga Temple, etc. Also, visit the Banaras Hindu University and explore the art gallery and the mosque of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. Later take an excursion to Ramnagar. Return by boat ride in the evening visiting en route religious ceremonies along with the bank of the River Ganga. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 08: Varanasi – Delhi (By Air)
Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel. Afternoon you will be transferred to the airport on time to board a flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, the Shantanu Cultural Trails representative transfers you to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day in your independent activities like shopping. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 09: Departure from Delhi
Today our tour ends. Shantanu Cultural Trails thank you for your support and ensure a punctual transfer to the Indira Gandhi International Airport to board a flight to your home/onward destination
