Day 01: Jodhpur
On arrival in Jodhpur, the Shantanu Cultural Trails representative cordially welcomes you and transfers you to your pre-booked hotel. On the first day of the Sand and Storm Tour of Rajasthan, explore the city of Jodhpur, popularly described as the Sun City because it enjoys sunny weather all year round. The city is also described as the Blue City of India. Visit the mammoth Mehrangarh Fort – one of the largest forts in India. Visit the royal cenotaph – Jaswant Thada. Visit the elegant Umaid Bhawan Palace. Visit the Mandore Garden. Also, visit the Sardar Market and the Clock Tower. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Jodhpur – Jaisalmer
On the second day of the Sand and Strom Tour of Rajasthan, leave for Jaisalmer. Located in the Thar Desert, the city is fondly called the Golden City. Rawal Jaisal founded the golden city of Jaisalmer in 1156. The city boasts of its beautifully painted Havelis. Arrive in Jaisalmer and check in at the hotel.
Day 03: Jaisalmer
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and spend the entire day exploring the historical and religious sites of the city. Visit the Golden Fort or Sonar Kila. Explore various Jain temples inside the fort complex. Also, explore beautifully painted Havelis showing murals and frescoes. Famous Havelis in the city are Nathmalji Ji Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, Patwon Ji Ki Haveli, etc. Enjoy a camel safari in sand dunes on your visit to Sam Dunes. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04: Jaisalmer – Bikaner
Take your breakfast at the hotel and then proceed to the desert city of Bikaner on the fourth day of the Sand & Storm Tour in Rajasthan, India. The city was founded in the 15th century by Rao Bikaji. On arrival in Bikaner, the Shantanu Cultural Trails representative transfers you to the hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel. Later explore Bikaner attractions like Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh Palace, Havelis, Ganga Singh Museum, Deshnok Temple, Camel Breeding Farm, Shiv Bari Temple, etc. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05: Bikaner – Departure
Have a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. In time you will be transferred to the Railway Station to board the train for your next or home destination.
