Day 01: Arrival in Mumbai

Upon arrival at Mumbai International Airport, a representative from Shantanu Cultural Trails will receive you with a warm welcome and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 02: Mumbai

After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Bombay, drive to the Gateway of India, and from here cruise by motorboat to Elephanta Caves. A flight of 100 steps takes you to the top of the hill where it is set. The caves house large pillars that seem to hold the ceiling which is made of cross beams. The picturesque presentations of the 9 marvelous, sculptured panels, set on the walls are awe-inspiring. The most famous of the panels is the Trimurthi, or triple-headed Shiva, where God is depicted as the destroyer, the preserver, and the creator. Later in the afternoon cruise back to Gateway of India. After lunch, visit the Prince of Wales Museum, Crawford Market, Marine Drive, Jain Temple, and Hanging Garden. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: Mumbai – Udaipur

After breakfast fly to Udaipur. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Visit the City Palace, Crystal gallery, Jag Mandir, Vintage and Classic Car Collection, and Saheliyon ki Bari (Queen’s resort for her friends), and don’t forget to see the beautiful Light and Sound Show in the City Palace during the evening hours. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Udaipur, the most one of the most beautiful cities in Rajasthan and India.

Day 04: Udaipur – Jodhpur

Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Drive towards Jodhpur en route visiting the Ranakpur Jain Temples of the 12th Century. Also, visit the famous Kumbhalgarh Fort on the way to Jodhpur. Kumbhalgarh Fort is known for its longest wall of 36 km surrounding the fort with 360 inbuilt temples in the wall, some of the temples now lie in a state of ruin. On arrival at Jodhpur check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 05: Jodhpur

After breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Jodhpur visiting Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada (Mausoleums of the great Rajput Warrior), and Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a Jeep safari to a Bishnoi Village—a memorable outing in Jeeps. Visit various traditional villages seeing local handicrafts viz. shoe makers, pottery hand weaving and also men in their traditional attire, women clad with ancestral silver Jewellery, en-route watch and photograph wildlife black buck, chinkaras, peacock, etc. freely moving in abundance protected by “Bishnois” Protectors of wildlife and tree. Drive back to Jodhpur for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06: Jodhpur – Jaipur

After breakfast drive to Jaipur en-route stopping at Pushkar, the known destination of the world famous cattle fair, the only Temple of Lord Brahma on the bank of Pushkar Lake surrounded by the Ghats and one can see devotees praying and taking a dip in the holy water of Pushkar Lake. On arrival at Jaipur transfer to hotel. Evening free to relax, overnight at the hotel.

Day 07: Jaipur

In the morning, visit the Amer Fort on elephant back. While touring the Jaigarh Fort, have a look at the largest cannon on wheels in the world, namely Jaivana. Visit the famous Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Have a look at its immaculate Rajput architecture. Travel back in time while touring the museums in the City Palace complex. Explore the immaculate work of art and architecture, while visiting the Jantar Mantar. Also, visit Gaitor and go shopping. Overnight stay in Jaipur. Come back to Hotel & free for independent activities. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 08: Jaipur – Agra

Leave or Agra via Fatehpur Sikri. This World Heritage Site is only 35 km from Agra and was created by Akbar Proceed to Agra, the city of Taj. On your arrival in Agra, you will be taken to the hotel.

Day 09: Agra – Delhi

In the morning, visit the Taj Mahal. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan in the 17th century. Also visit the Agra Fort & Itmad-ud-Daulah. After a sightseeing tour of Agra, depart for Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, you will get assisted transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 10: Delhi – Departure

On time, a representative from Shantanu Cultural Trails will transfer you to the New Delhi Airport to board the flight back to your home destination. The tour ends.
